Having Troubles with Nigerian Light (NEPA), 14 traits of high performers.

No. 003 - 16/04/2023

Hey, there “OK” gang,

How's it going?

This week has been a rollercoaster for me, with plenty of challenges to overcome. But as a young hustler, I'm not one to back down easily.

Despite the frustration of dealing with issues like unreliable electricity (thanks, Nepa), I powered through to bring you this newsletter. My laptop is running on fumes as I write this, so let's dive into the good stuff.

Quote

This quote really hit home for me. I can't remember where I found it, but it's a powerful reminder to embrace the passage of time. Instead of fearing aging and death, focus on making the most out of every moment. Don't worry about what others think, and don't let regrets haunt you on your deathbed. Chase your dreams relentlessly and make every day count.

Remember that this moment is not your life, it’s just a moment in your life. Focus on what is in front of you, right now. Ignore what it 'represents' or it 'means' or 'why it happened to you.' - Ryan Holiday

I wasn't very active on Twitter last week due to my busy schedule, but no excuses. I stumbled upon this tweet, and it resonated with me deeply. It's a reminder to stay present and not get bogged down by overthinking. It's all about focusing on the now.

Podcast

I've been binge-listening to the Bedros Keulian Podcast lately because his teachings really hit home for me. In one episode, he delves into the 14 traits of high performers. It's been eye-opening and motivating, and I highly recommend giving it a listen.

Book

I'll be honest, I haven't been able to read as much as I'd like to lately, but I'm currently engrossed in "The One Thing" by .

It's all about identifying the most crucial tasks to reach your goals, and I'm only 22 pages in, but it's already blowing my mind.

I know I'll gain a wealth of knowledge from it, and I encourage you to check it out too. It's a game-changer when it comes to goal-setting and prioritization.

Thanks for sticking around and reading this far! If you're hungry for more of my content, you can follow me on LinkedIn and Twitter for regular updates. Don't hesitate to reach out with questions or just to say hi. I'm always happy to connect.

Until next time, keep smiling and spreading good vibes!
